Just to start by a little warning to all Blood Bowl fans: this game shouldn't be considered as a sequel to the Blood Bowl games that have been recently released by Cyanide, this is merely a new Chaos League, a real-time strategy game released by the same studio a dozen of years ago that was already heavily inspired by Blood Bowl. One could say this is a sequel to the disastrous Blitz mode of Blood Bowl, but being a huge fan of Chaos League I am glad to see this game I loved so much (although I'd admit it didn't age well) being reincarnated in Blood Bowl : Death Zone.That being said, the game is simply not in a proper state to be sold currently.In less than half an hour of play, I encountered a crash during a game. This technical issue let aside, there is just not enough to do in this game right now. The developers seem to be confident to make this a competitive 1v1 online multiplayer game, but right now there are just not enough players to compete with (last time I checked there were 21 ranked players, some without any game played). It's been impossible for me to find an online game. The solo content is also very disappointing in the current state of the game. I understand that this is an Early Access game, so it's understandable that there is not any solo campaign yet, but the AI level is just pathetic right now, there is only two settings (easy and medium), and it seems impossible to lose to them, they already have trouble scoring a single touchdown.Although the game seems to have good ideas to make a Chaos League revival, the thing that makes me very pessimistic about its success is that the devs announced the release of a roadmap 5 months ago and still didn't deliver. If they can't even release a roadmap, how are we supposed to believe they are going to make this an interesting game anytime soon? I brought up this issue on the Steam forums, and received no response, their community management doesn't seem to be on point either. I understand that the development of this game shouldn't hinder the development of the canonical Blood Bowl episodes, but if Blood Bowl : Death Zone doesn't receive the love it deserves from its makers, it's never going to succeed. It's sad, I really wish for Chaos League to make a comeback, but I prefered asking for a refund, it doesn't deserve any penny in its current state. I hope the devs wake up in 2019.. wtf is this crap? no tx
